Accessibility statement

Our commitment

Parallel Agents Ltd is committed to making parallelagents.co.uk accessible to as many people as possible, including people who use assistive technologies such as screen readers, speech recognition, keyboard-only navigation, and browser-level accessibility settings.

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA where practical. This statement describes where we stand today and how to tell us if you hit a barrier.

What we've done

  • Semantic HTML throughout — every page has a single <h1>, logical heading hierarchy, landmark regions, and meaningful page titles.
  • Keyboard accessible — all interactive elements are reachable and operable with a keyboard. Focus states are visible.
  • Colour contrast — our dark theme is tested for AA contrast on body copy, links and interactive elements.
  • Reduced motion — animations honour prefers-reduced-motion. The custom cursor and scroll-driven effects disable automatically.
  • Mobile-first layouts — every page is responsive down to 320px and tap targets meet 44×44px where reachable.
  • Form labels and inputs are programmatically associated. Error messages are announced where used.
  • No auto-playing audio. Video hero loops are decorative and muted.

Known limitations

We are a small team shipping fast and we know some things aren't perfect yet:

  • Some decorative gradients and film-grain overlays are purely visual and are marked aria-hidden. If they distract, our reduced-motion path turns them down.
  • Third-party widgets (chatbot, booking, payments) ship their own accessibility — we review them on integration but can't guarantee every release.
  • Video hero backgrounds don't currently have captions because they carry no dialogue or narration. If this changes we'll add them.

If you find something we've missed, please tell us — we treat accessibility bugs the same as any other production bug.

Tell us about a barrier

If any part of the site is hard to use, please email ak@parallelagents.co.uk with the page, the device or assistive technology you're using, and what went wrong. We aim to reply within one working day and fix genuine barriers within five.

Enforcement

This site is operated by a private UK company and is not subject to the Public Sector Bodies (Websites and Mobile Applications) (No. 2) Accessibility Regulations 2018. We publish this statement because accessibility matters, not because we're required to. If you're unhappy with our response, you can also raise concerns with the Equality Advisory and Support Service.
